Overview

You may be surprised to learn many of Florida’s top lakes for boating, water sports and fishing are located right here in Downtown Orlando.

Downtown Orlando is known as “The City Beautiful”, and with good reason. The plethora of natural lake settings and public parks situated throughout one of the Southeast’s most bustling metropolitan areas makes Orlando a one-of-a-kind destination.

Years of conscientious management have helped keep most of these lakes extremely healthy in terms of water clarity and fish populations. Many provide fantastic boating and recreation opportunities as well.

Lake Info

When people think of waterfront property in Downtown Orlando, Lake Eola often comes to mind, with its towering high-rises providing umatched views of its classic fountain, bandshell, pagoda, signature swan boats and proximity to nightlife, restaurants and shopping. However, Orlando has the great fortune of being home to many beautiful lakes located in historic neighborhoods with mature landscaping and shade trees, just a stone’s throw away from the heart of downtown.

If you haven’t checked out the lakes in College Park, Delaney Park, Thornton Park or Colonialtown, you’re missing out on some of Downtown Orlando’s most well-maintained and sought after waterfront real estate.
